Overview
- S-Bahn Berlin, which announced the repairs Tuesday morning, reports delays and cancellations on lines S3, S5, S7, S75 and S9, and has not given a time for normal service to resume.
- S3 runs only between Erkner and Warschauer Straße every 10 minutes, and the S3 express between Friedrichshagen and Ostbahnhof is canceled.
- S5 operates only between Hoppegarten and Ostbahnhof every 10 minutes, and the extra trains between Mahlsdorf and Warschauer Straße or Ostbahnhof are suspended.
- S7 is split into two segments at 10-minute intervals, running Ahrensfelde to Warschauer Straße and Charlottenburg to Potsdam Hauptbahnhof.
- S-Bahn advises S75 passengers to use S5 and S7 between Lichtenberg and Warschauer Straße, and travelers between Warschauer Straße or Ostbahnhof and Charlottenburg to use S3, S5 and S9.
