Overview
- Setup for the 45th edition, which begins Thursday, brings full closures around the start–finish on Straße des 17. Juni by the Brandenburg Gate.
- Race day on Sunday starts with inlineskaters at 9:15, wheelchair athletes and handbikers at 9:55, and runners in waves from 10:05.
- During the race, crossings are tightly controlled and streets reopen in stages by about 3 p.m., with officials urging U- and S-Bahn and drivers using the A100 and the Tiergarten and Adenauerplatz tunnels.
- The course starts on Straße des 17. Juni, loops past Charlottenburg and Kurfürstendamm, and finishes on Unter den Linden at the Brandenburg Gate.
- German record-holder Amanal Petros and Ethiopia’s Likina Amebaw headline the elite fields, and Saturday adds the new Berlin Mile alongside the Expo and kids’ events at Tempelhof.
