The company confirmed battery, charging and performance specs and will build the model on a new £350m Crewe production line to bring Bentley craftsmanship into an EV format.

Overview

  • Bentley publicly revealed the Torcal on Wednesday, a midsize, dual‑motor luxury SUV that is the brand’s first fully electric production car.

  • Pricing starts at £173,000 in the U.K. and Bentley has pledged to build the Torcal in Crewe on a new production line after a roughly £350m factory investment, with customer deliveries scheduled in 2027.
  • Bentley emphasizes handcrafted materials, new interior features and a bespoke 'Bentley Dynamic Symphony' soundscape while U.S. EPA range figures, final regional timing and real‑world efficiency will be published as testing and deliveries proceed.
