BEAT Announces 40‑Date U.S. Fall Tour With Terry Bozzio

The lineup change lets BEAT expand its repertoire into 1990s King Crimson material.

Overview

  • The band announced the 40-date North American tour on Tuesday, with shows running from Oct. 9 in Santa Cruz to Dec. 3 in Riverside.
  • Terry Bozzio will perform as BEAT’s drummer for the fall run, stepping in because Danny Carey is unavailable due to Tool commitments while Carey remains part of the BEAT family.
  • Artist presales began Aug. 4 using the password BEATTOUR and general public tickets go on sale Aug. 7 at 10 a.m. local time through major platforms and the band site.
  • Each concert will offer three tiers of VIP packages, including on-stage viewing, soundcheck access, meet-and-greets and limited memorabilia.
  • Robert Fripp’s team set an archival King Crimson release for Oct. 30 that packages the complete 2014 U.S. tour in high-resolution audio and video, providing a companion release to BEAT’s live activity.
