BBC Releases Final Season of I Kissed A Girl

A 10-episode final season has premiered in the UK following the BBC's decision to end the franchise for funding reasons, with international streaming dates unconfirmed.

Overview

  • The second and final season of I Kissed A Girl launched in the UK on Tuesday, June 23, with episodes 1–4 available on BBC iPlayer from 6 a.m. and a double-bill airing on BBC Three that evening.
  • The BBC confirmed earlier this year that it had axed the I Kissed A… franchise because of funding challenges, and it has said there are no current plans for the show to return.
  • Season 2 was filmed at a masseria in Polignano, Puglia, features a 10-episode run (four episodes at launch then two new episodes weekly) and returns Dannii Minogue as host with Charley Marlowe narrating.
  • The confirmed cast includes ten women — Faye, Nikita, Elise, Tyra, Elisha, Lindsey, Ashlea, Ebony, Renee and Imogen — who will take part in the show's kiss-first format and its signature 'kiss-offs'.
  • International availability remains uncertain: outlets expect season 2 to reach the U.S. on Hulu at a later date but no official international release windows have been announced, prompting coverage about regional access and viewing workarounds.
