Overview
- Season 1 was extended on January 20, with Season 2 now scheduled to launch on February 17.
- Players accepted into Battlefield Labs will get early hands-on testing of the new Contaminated map and the AH-6 Little Bird under NDA.
- Contaminated is pitched between Eastwood and Mirak Valley in scale and is comparable to Battlefield 1’s St. Quentin Scar and Battlefield 5’s Arras, with testing focused on vehicle–infantry balance and map mechanics.
- Battlefield 4’s Golmud Railway is being rebuilt for BF6 as the game’s largest map to date and will enter multi-session Labs testing to refine flight space, cover, and other systems.
- Battlefield Studios is evaluating aircraft radar, rocket–vehicle interactions and ground hit-registration, and it is internally testing a REDSEC Solo playlist without committing to a permanent mode.
