- Eligibility is limited to contract holders living in Barcelona who are either single‑parent families or people 55+ living alone, with legal residence in Catalonia for at least five years and a monthly rent at or below €1,100.
- Income thresholds are tied to the IRSC, including up to 2 IRSC (€24,911.79) for a single person and up to 2.5 IRSC (€32,102.82) for two members, with documented monthly rent payments required.
- Arrears, parking spaces and storage units are excluded, the aid cannot overlap with other subsidies for the same months, and applications are filed through the Consorci de l’Habitatge or municipal housing offices with the required documentation.
