Overview
- The seventh edition runs March 5 to April 1, presenting 52 concerts by more than 500 artists across 29 sites, including ten new emblematic venues covering all 10 districts.
- The project is led by the Gran Teatre del Liceu, the Palau de la Música Catalana and L’Auditori under Turisme de Barcelona, with €270,000 in municipal support and the loan of civic spaces.
- Access expands with 27 free events staged citywide that will spotlight about 250 young local performers, alongside 25 paid performances at the three principal halls.
- Free tickets are being assigned by lottery, with requests accepted February 18–20 and the draw on February 23.
- Programming marks the Gaudí centenary by recovering Catalan repertoire and highlighting three overlooked women composers, features international stars such as Asmik Grigorian, Juan Diego Flórez and Martha Argerich, and includes a new Liceu production of Puccini’s Manon Lescaut from March 17 to April 1.
