Banks Roll Out 3%–3.4% Deposit Offers in New Push for Savers

Most offers target new customers with short promotional windows, strict caps, varying deposit guarantees.

  • Verivox’s March report counts 18 providers now advertising time-limited newcomer Tagesgeld rates of at least 3%.
  • At the market peak, two-year Festgeld yields again reach 3%, with offers such as Ferratum/Multitude Bank under Malta’s deposit protection.
  • For ongoing, non-promotional Tagesgeld, Verivox lists 2.7% at Ferratum as the highest rate available to both new and existing customers.
