Overview
- Starting at 7 am from Karimnagar’s Mahashakti Temple, Bandi Sanjay reached the Kondagattu Sri Anjaneya Swamy temple around 7:30 pm after an 11-hour trek in near-40°C heat, walking in socks without footwear.
- Organisers reported thousands in attendance, including 108 sarpanches, about 450 ward members, and more than 50 corporators and councillors who joined the minister along the route.
- A supporter-operated drone reportedly struck a beehive near Konaraopet, triggering a brief bee attack that stung several workers and injured three corporators before medical teams treated them and the march resumed.
- Event planners positioned water, buttermilk and food stations, kept the walk devotional without political slogans, and coordinated with volunteers to manage heat and crowd needs.
- To avoid disrupting ongoing SSC examinations and traffic, the procession was kept to one side of the Karimnagar–Jagtial highway, with scheduled halts including a lunch break at Gangadhara.
