Baltimore Man Charged in 2022 Westport Retaliatory Killing

  • Baltimore prosecutors announced Thursday that Dontaye Montez Carter, 44, faces first-degree murder, conspiracy, kidnapping and firearm charges in the 2022 death of Kenneth Lawson.

  • Officials say Carter tracked a stolen phone with the Find My iPhone app and shared social-media screenshots and an address with associates before Lawson was lured or taken to Westport and killed.
