Baltimore Activates Game-Day Closures for First MLS Match as D.C. United Faces Inter Miami

City agencies deploy timed closures, enhanced transit service, strict parking enforcement to manage the expected fan surge.

Overview

  • Closures begin at 11:30 a.m., with the northbound Russell Street Service Drive shut between West and Hamburg streets for the duration of the match.
  • The Hamburg Street Bridge (Leadenhall to Paca) and Ostend Street Bridge (Sharp to Warner) will close for arriving fans, then reopen between kickoff and the start of the second half.
  • At the start of the second half, Hamburg Street will close between Hanover and Charles for stadium egress, special traffic patterns will run on Warner, Alluvion, Worcester and Bayard, and southbound Hanover will be restricted between Henrietta and Hamburg.
  • Warner Street remains closed between Worcester and West Ostend for construction, with a temporary one-way pattern before and after the game and a dedicated pedestrian walkway in place.
  • Posted parking limits and residential permit zones will be strictly enforced as DOT officers assist, public transit is strongly encouraged, kickoff is 4:30 p.m., and the Maryland Stadium Authority will deploy additional uniformed and plainclothes field security.
