Back-to-Back ATM Thefts Hit Chicago's Rogers Park and Logan Square Before Dawn

Police are investigating the break-ins with no determination yet on any connection.

Overview

  • Officers responded around 2:58 a.m. to Hookah & CBD at 1400 W. Devon Ave., where the front window was shattered and an ATM was taken.
  • At about 3:45 a.m., police found Rosati's Pizza at 2218 N. California Ave. with its front glass broken and its ATM missing.
  • Investigators reported five suspects fleeing the Rogers Park scene in a black SUV and three suspects leaving the Logan Square incident in a black SUV.
  • No arrests were reported, and no one was in custody as of Monday morning.
  • Detectives from Area Three and Area Five are leading the investigations, and police have not said whether the two thefts are related.
