Awaken RV Details Rugged MorningStar-i as Double-Hull Trailer Line Launches

A molded double-hull fiberglass body targets greater durability with improved insulation versus stick-and-tin designs.

Overview

  • The MorningStar-i adds independent suspension, dual Dexter torsion axles, and all-terrain tires on an aluminum chassis with a GenY coupler for rougher routes.
  • The standard MorningStar measures about 24 feet and lists a 5,320 lb dry weight with a starting price of $88,900, while the MorningStar-i is just over 23 feet, about 5,690 lb dry, and starts near $93,500.
  • Off-grid power includes at least 500 watts of solar, a heated lithium bank (about 250 Ah on the standard model and 270 Ah Redarc on the i-model), and a 3,000-watt inverter/charger.
  • The layout sleeps up to four with a front twin-to-queen bed option and a convertible dinette, plus a dry bath, a three-burner stove, a convection microwave, and a compressor refrigerator.
  • The seamless hull-in-hull shell is designed to resist rot, corrosion, leaks, and dents, with reflective insulation, ducted climate control, a Truma system for heat and hot water, and conveniences like a Carefree power awning and rear-view monitoring.
