- Audi has opened UK order books for the new RS5 plug-in hybrid in saloon and Avant forms, with starting prices of £89,400 and £91,300.
- Three trims are on sale – RS5, Carbon Black, and performance Vorsprung – with list prices reaching £107,485 for the saloon and £109,385 for the Avant in the top spec.
- The powertrain pairs a 2.9‑litre V6 with an electric motor for a claimed 630bhp, delivering 0–60mph in 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 155mph or 177mph on Vorsprung models.
- Audi quotes up to 52 miles of electric-only range, and the battery can charge at up to 11kW for a full recharge in about 2.5 hours.
