Audi Revives A6 Allroad With Widebody and First‑Time Plug‑In Hybrid

The lifted wagon adds a 95 km WLTP plug‑in hybrid, a mild‑hybrid V6 diesel and an upgraded off‑road chassis with confirmed European pricing.

Overview

  • Audi officially revealed the fifth‑generation A6 allroad and opened European order activity with pricing from €77,250 for the diesel and €80,250 for the PHEV, with first deliveries due from autumn and orders starting on June 18.
  • For the first time the Allroad is available as a plug‑in hybrid using a 2.0‑litre petrol engine plus electric motor with a 25.9 kWh battery and up to 95 km WLTP electric range while a 3.0‑litre V6 mild‑hybrid diesel remains the alternative.
  • The body is 111 mm wider than the A6 Avant and rides 34 mm higher, with a 55 mm adjustable air suspension, offroad‑specific lift modes and rear‑wheel steering that turns up to 5° to improve low‑speed manoeuvring.
  • Interior and tech follow the latest A6 architecture with an 11.9‑inch digital cluster, 14.5‑inch touchscreen, optional 10.9‑inch passenger display and AI voice features including ChatGPT integration.
  • Audi has confirmed near‑term European availability but said regional launches for markets such as Australia, the United States, South Africa and India are still under evaluation by local Audi organisations.
