Audi Refreshes Q4 E-Tron With More Range, Faster Charging and a Digital-First Cabin

European sales start this summer following May order books, priced from about €47,500 in Germany.

Overview

  • Audi, which detailed the 2027 Q4 e-tron facelift Monday, adds a new APP350 rear motor claimed to be about 10% more efficient and raises peak DC fast charging.
  • The longest-range Sportback Performance now reaches up to 592 km (about 368 miles) on the WLTP test, and top trims charge at up to 185 kW for a 10–80% fill in roughly 27 minutes.
  • Practical upgrades include bidirectional charging that can power devices (V2L) or send energy to a home (V2H) in select European markets, plus higher towing for Quattro versions now rated at 1,800 kg.
  • Inside, the Q4 adopts a curved display setup with an 11.9-inch driver screen and 12.8-inch center screen, an optional 12-inch passenger screen, an AR head-up display, Android Automotive software, and ChatGPT voice features.
  • Audi brings back a round steering wheel with physical scroll wheels and drops the old haptic sliders, though it removes separate climate buttons in favor of on-screen controls.
