Overview
- Audi showed the Q9’s cabin in an early look, confirming its role as a new full-size flagship with a world premiere planned for late July.
- All four doors can open and close under power for the first time on an Audi, with controls on the key, app, in-car screen, brake pedal or belt latch and sensors that stop the door if something is in the way.
- The three-row layout seats up to seven with an optional six-seat captain’s configuration, and Audi says the second row can hold three child seats.
- A 1.5 m² panoramic glass roof uses nine switchable segments to change transparency, filters more than 99.5% of UV light and, in top trims, adds 84 LEDs that tie into the ambient lighting.
- Audi lists premium materials and tech such as alpaca wool and Dinamica upholstery, wood or carbon trim, and a Bang & Olufsen 4D system with headrest speakers and seat-mounted actuators, while reports expect ICE and plug-in hybrid options, Bratislava production and a starting price near €100,000 to be confirmed at the July debut.
