Overview
- The companies announced Tuesday that Audacy and SiriusXM will carry 42 Audacy-owned sports, news and talk stations from 29 U.S. markets on SiriusXM platforms.
- The rollout will start with 23 Audacy sports stations, including New York’s WFAN, going live on SiriusXM on Sept. 1, with 19 news and talk stations to follow later in 2026.
- All 42 stations will be available on the SiriusXM app and a subset — WFAN plus eight other sports stations — will also be offered in vehicles’ built-in satellite radios.
- Audacy will receive a licensing fee under the deal while other financial details remain undisclosed, providing the company a new source of revenue after its 2024 restructuring.
- The move brings local on-air talent to a national audience and could enable cross-promotion and guest appearances across platforms, giving listeners nationwide access to hometown coverage.
