Auburn Is No. 4 National Seed and Will Host a Four-Team NCAA Regional

A bracket of Auburn, UCF, NC State and Milwaukee is set with a published start time for the Auburn–Milwaukee opener still inconsistent.

Overview

  • The NCAA selection placed Auburn as the tournament’s No. 4 overall seed and assigned a four-team regional to be played at Plainsman Park featuring Auburn, UCF, NC State and Milwaukee.
  • UCF received an at-large bid and the No. 2 seed and will open against No. 3 NC State while Auburn is scheduled to open against No. 4 Milwaukee in the regional bracket.
  • Auburn enters the tournament with a 38-19 record and recent postseason experience after reaching a super regional last season, and UCF is 31-21 with a No. 36 RPI under coach Rich Wallace in its 14th regional appearance.
  • The regional is scheduled to run May 29 through June 1 at Plainsman Park and will be carried on ESPN platforms including ESPN+ and ESPNU with ticket and tournament details available via AuburnTigers.com.
  • Coverage shows a timing discrepancy for the Auburn–Milwaukee opener (one outlet lists Noon CT and another lists 1 p.m. CT) and officials or the host site should confirm the definitive start time.
