ATU Relaunches Cole Bus in Rímac for March 16 School Start

The special service uses Corredor Azul buses with electronic-card fares to shuttle students from five schools to nearby neighborhoods.

Overview

  • Operations run Monday to Friday throughout the school term, timed to students’ dismissal from participating schools.
  • The program serves María Parado de Bellido, Ricardo Bentín, Esther Cáceres, Leoncio Prado and Virgen del Carmen.
  • Fares are S/0.50 for students and S/1.00 for accompanying persons, payable only with Metropolitano or Lima Pass cards.
  • ATU advises parents to ensure their children’s cards have sufficient balance to avoid boarding issues.
  • Published routes use paraderos near the schools, including mappings such as Totoritas to Flor de Amancaes, Cecilia de Risco to Flor de Amancaes, and Antón Sánchez to Flor de Amancaes, targeting areas like Flor de Amancaes, El Bosque, El Altillo and Ciudad y Campo.
