- The service went live on January 15 after an ATU–Yape presentation at Estación Central, covering Lima Pass and personalized Metropolitano cards.
- To reload, use Yape’s “Yapear servicios”, choose “Metropolitano y Corredores”, enter the 10-digit card number, and pay with a minimum of S/10.
- Processing takes about 15 minutes, with activation required within seven days—at totems in Metropolitano stations or automatically when boarding corridor buses.
- Recharges are available daily from 00:00 to 21:15, and station activation operates roughly from 5:00 to 23:00.
- Officials say the option complements Plin and immediately serves over 7 million Yape users in Lima and Callao, with potential reach above 15 million nationwide.
