Atibaia Flower and Strawberry Festival Marks Charity Entry Day

Overview

• Visitors today gain entry by donating 1 kg of non-perishable food, in a drive run with the Fundo Social de Solidariedade de Atibaia and partner groups, after more than two tonnes were collected in the last action.
• Sunday’s program features Escola de Samba Independência at 11:00 in homage to Atibaia’s Japanese community and its 2026 Carnaval theme.
• The festival operates Fridays to Sundays, 9:00–18:00 at Parque Ecológico de Atibaia, with tickets at R$60 (meia R$30) and all Fridays priced at meia-entrada.
• Direct sales span five strawberry stands expected to move about 80 tonnes and a flower market with more than 150,000 plants near the main entrance.
• New this year, a cosplay contest on September 28 at 15:00 offers free same-day registration for up to 60 participants and prizes of R$1,000, R$500, R$300 and R$100.
