Asus Returns to India With Premium 12.2‑Inch Pad T3201

The move positions Asus to compete in high-end Android tablets using a dual-layer OLED, pen support and cross-device features with pricing to be announced at launch.

  • Asus announced the Pad T3201 on Friday, July 17, 2026, marking its formal return to India’s tablet market after the ZenPad line was discontinued in 2019.
  • The tablet has a 12.2-inch 2.8K dual-layer OLED display with a 3:2 aspect ratio, up to 144Hz refresh and claimed peak brightness of 2,000 nits for HDR content.
  • Asus lists a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset, 8GB LPDDR5X memory, 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 storage (expandable to 1TB), Android 16, Wi‑Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
