Assort Health Raises $120 Million Series C at $1.2 Billion Valuation

The round will fund a major technology build of the Synapse model and Patient Journey Memory ahead of a planned Q3 product launch.

Overview

  • Assort announced a $120 million Series C led by Menlo Ventures that values the company at $1.2 billion and brings total funding to more than $222 million, the company said on Wednesday.
  • The company markets Synapse, a proprietary specialty-trained AI model, and Patient Journey Memory, a persistent patient context layer that links scheduling, intake, referrals, document handling, meds and payments into a single platform.
  • Assort says it has handled roughly 190 million patient voice interactions and rolled the system out to about 15,000 physicians while reporting 20-fold revenue growth over the past 15 months and Forbes estimates annualized revenue above $30 million.
  • Assort plans to allocate about $70 million of the new proceeds to build the technology and to launch the upgraded product in Q3, and it is expanding deployments into enterprise health systems with native integrations to EHRs such as Epic and Athena.
  • The company points to measurable operational gains for patients and staff—shorter hold times, fewer hangups, higher appointment capture and increased administrative capacity—which could let Assort convert scale and its specialty dataset into a competitive advantage as other AI vendors enter the market.
