Aspyr Releases Community Update for Tomb Raider 1–3 Remastered

The patch raises playability by adding 60 FPS in Classic mode and a brightness slider while fixing platform-specific crashes and glitches to respond to player feedback.

Overview

  • Aspyr published a downloadable “Community” update that is available now for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch and other platforms.
  • The update enables 60 frames per second in Classic Graphics mode so the original visuals run at a smoother framerate on supported systems.
  • A new Brightness Slider lets players adjust level brightness across all three games and is noted to give best results when used in HD Graphics Mode.
  • The default Retro FPS setting has been changed to enabled; Retro FPS preserves original-era frame pacing while allowing the remaster to run at modern framerates.
  • The patch bundles many bug fixes and optimizations, including Switch 2-specific corrections for stuck characters, softlocks, T‑Rex clipping and flickering textures, which should reduce crashes and improve play reliability for users.
