Aspire to Open 300‑Seat Lounge in Manchester Terminal 2 in August 2026

Easing lounge crowding at Manchester, the new facility supports Swissport’s plan to grow Aspire’s network to 106 sites.

Overview

  • Aspire confirmed on Tuesday that a centrally located Terminal 2 lounge will open in late August 2026 with seating for more than 300 passengers.
  • The space is designed with separate dining, social, quiet and private work areas to serve leisure and business travellers seeking food, rest or productivity before flights.
  • Prebook prices start at roughly £46.99 for adults and £31.99 for children aged two to 11, with cash bookings also reported to be available at similar rates.
  • The company says the new lounge should relieve capacity pressure at Manchester, where club-card access has been limited, and existing Aspire sites at the airport are expected to remain open.
  • The Manchester opening is part of Swissport/Aspire’s 2026 expansion drive that takes the group from 93 lounges at end‑2025 toward a confirmed 106 locations and about 6.4 million annual guests.
