Overview

  • ASM's Supervisory Board announced its intention to nominate Chris Figee as a member of the Management Board and CFO, subject to shareholder approval at an EGM expected in March 2027.
  • KPN confirmed Figee will leave the telecom on November 1, 2026 and that it will start a process to appoint his successor.
  • Figee will join ASM on December 1, 2026 as Executive Vice President Special Projects to begin onboarding and to work with CEO Hichem M’Saad and Supervisory Board Chair Pauline van der Meer Mohr.
  • Until the appointment becomes effective Paul Verhagen will remain ASM's CFO, will step down after shareholder approval, and has agreed to stay on as an advisor until his contract ends to ensure a smooth handover.
  • Figee brings finance and board experience from KPN, a.s.r., Achmea and McKinsey, and ASM says the move aims to support execution of its innovation-led growth plans while KPN manages a planned CFO succession process.
