- President Putin carried out an intensive schedule of meetings and events, including roughly nine bilateral talks with ASEAN leaders and participation in economic demonstrations such as a Tatarstan plant launch and an LNG compressor test.
- The summit marked the 35th anniversary of Russia–ASEAN relations and reflects ASEAN’s mixed alignments across the region, with the new documents intended to operationalise cooperation while preserving ASEAN’s central role in regional forums.
