- Asda announced the Grocery & Fuel Bonus on Monday, July 13, and activated the offer the same day so qualifying shoppers can start earning the coupon immediately.
- Shoppers who spend £40 or more in a single in-store transaction between July 13 and July 31 will receive a 5p-per-litre coupon automatically in the Asda Rewards app.
- The coupon is redeemable on one fuel purchase at participating Asda filling stations until August 7 and is scanned via the Rewards barcode and the coupon at the pump or kiosk.
- The offer is live at 321 Asda supermarkets and Asda Express sites that sell Asda-branded fuel, and the company says it plans to roll the reward out to more locations and possibly extend the timeframe.
- Asda says a 5p cut could save a driver up to about £3 on a 60-litre family fill, and the move builds on recent personalised ‘Missions’ in the Rewards app aimed at helping households cut grocery and fuel costs.
