Overview
- The Terror Tram announcement was made at Midsummer Scream on Aug. 9 when Universal Creative Director John Murdy revealed “Terror Tram starring Art the Clown” as part of Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood.
- The attraction will use a Christmas‑twisted concept called “Every Day is Artmas!” with concept art showing a first area labeled Zone 1: Scary Artmas and the Terror Tram running through the park’s historic backlot.
- Rock band Ice Nine Kills will provide the attraction’s soundtrack with darker arrangements of classic Christmas songs to shape the ride’s twisted holiday tone.
- Universal confirmed that Art the Clown will also roam Universal Studios Hollywood during HHN and that the character is planned for Universal Orlando’s new Downtown Clowntown scare zone, taking the IP coast to coast.
- The move continues Universal’s HHN35 strategy of centering the season on licensed horror franchises and staged reveals, a campaign that uses timed teasers and creative collaborations to drive ticket demand for the Sept. 3–Nov. 1, 2026 run.
