Arizona announced freshman forward Koa Peat has a lower-leg muscle strain and will miss at least the next two games before a re-evaluation next week.
Peat is ruled out for Wednesday’s home game against No. 23 BYU and Saturday’s road trip to No. 2 Houston.
Freshman wing Dwayne Aristode will miss a second straight game due to illness after sitting out the overtime loss to Texas Tech.
Coach Tommy Lloyd expects to start senior forward Tobe Awaka and to increase minutes for Sidi Gueye and Evan Nelson to bolster depth.
