Overview
- The National Weather Service said the strongest impacts remain east of the state, with Arizona largely dry by Jan. 25.
- In the northern and eastern high country, snowfall totaled about 1 to 5 inches, with advisories calling for 3 to 12 inches above 6,500 feet and hazardous travel along the Mogollon Rim and White Mountains early Sunday.
- The Navajo Nation declared a State of Emergency due to expected snow accumulation, low temperatures and dangerous road conditions.
- Southern Arizona recorded widespread rainfall, including roughly a half-inch in Tucson and 1 to 3 inches in parts of Cochise County and the Chiricahua Mountains.
- Nationally, the larger storm moved east with at least two deaths reported and more than 10,000 flight cancellations as of Jan. 25.
