Argentina’s National Parks Raise Entry Fees as New Prices Start June 1

The agency says the higher fees will fund park upkeep following recent budget cuts.

Overview

  • Argentina’s National Parks Administration, which published Resolution 132/2026 on Friday in the Official Gazette, set a new fee schedule that takes effect June 1 and keeps pre-purchased tickets at their original price.
  • General entry now ranges from ARS 25,000 to ARS 60,000, with Iguazú at ARS 60,000, Los Glaciares at ARS 50,000, and Tierra del Fuego at ARS 40,000.
  • Reported average increases reach about 86% for Argentine visitors, 60% for provincial residents, 42% for foreigners, and 117% for students.
  • The rule adds a 50% discount on a second visit within 72 hours, keeps the Flexipass options of 3 days for the price of 2 or 7 for 3.5, and offers an annual pass sold online.
  • APN says the extra revenue will improve trails, visitor services, and biodiversity protection, following a separate budget change this month that news reports say cut park funding by more than ARS 2,500 million.
