Argentina Sets May ANSES Payouts: 3.4% Rise, $70,000 Bonus, 38% Food Card Increase

The update applies the inflation-linked formula with a $70,000 top-up capped by income.

Overview

  • ANSES begins May deposits on Monday, May 11, with dates set by ID number for pensions, AUH, AUE, PNC and the Tarjeta Alimentar that credits on the same day.
  • Pensions and family allowances rise about 3.4% under the CPI-linked mobility rule from DNU 274/2024, putting the minimum at $393,174.10 before extras.
  • The $70,000 retiree bonus pays in full at the minimum and tapers for higher incomes up to a $463,174.10 cap, posts automatically, and does not count toward the June aguinaldo.
  • The government lifted the Tarjeta Alimentar food benefit by 38% to $72,250 for one child, $113,299 for two, and $149,425 for three or more, with no application required.
  • AUH is $141,286 gross per child for May, though ANSES pays 80% monthly and withholds 20% until the Libreta is filed, which affects families’ month-to-month cash.
