- Official tallies for 2025 show Argentina's lowest recorded homicide rate of 3.6 per 100,000 and 1,676 homicide victims, and the Registro Nacional de Femicidios reported 200 direct femicide victims plus 19 linked cases, a 12.3% fall from 2024.
- The decline masks stark local differences: Chaco, Misiones and Neuquén posted the highest femicide rates (1.80, 1.77 and 1.69 per 100,000 women respectively) while Corrientes, La Pampa and San Juan recorded zero femicides in 2025.
