Overview
- The Ministry of Economy created the program Monday through Resolution 8/2026 in the Boletín Oficial and named the Subsecretaría de Industria y Economía del Conocimiento as the implementing authority.
- Funding comes from the Knowledge Economy trust FONPEC, with a total cap of 9,000 million pesos, reported as about 6.5 million dollars, that will close the call once exhausted.
- Companies will receive support only after executing and validating a project, at which point a credit posts to the technology provider’s ARCA tax account to ensure clear payment trails.
- Eligible applicants include industrial SMEs and production-linked services, with projects focused on tools like integrated management systems, data analytics, traceability, connectivity, and predictive maintenance.
- Next, the Subsecretaría will publish calls and selection criteria so SMEs can submit projects under a process that includes diagnostics, technical checks, and sworn statements to curb overpricing.
