Argentina Banks Roll Out March Food Discounts as Nación’s 30% Supermarket Rebate Runs Wednesdays to May 27

App-based promotions from financial providers carry weekly caps that determine the real savings.

Overview

  • Banco Nación confirms a 30% supermarket reimbursement every Wednesday via MODO BNA+ with BNA Visa or Mastercard, capped at $12,000 per week and valid through May 27, with credits usually posting within 24 hours and up to 30 days.
  • To reach the weekly cap at Nación’s supermarkets, shoppers must spend about $40,000, and participating chains include Carrefour (all formats), Changomás, Libertad and Granja Benedetti, with a separate 5% bonus for pensioners who bank with BNA on weekdays.
  • Banco Provincia’s Cuenta DNI publishes sector-specific deals active today, including 20% in supermarkets and 40% in bonaerense fairs and markets, plus 20% in neighborhood shops with a $5,000 weekly cap and special pop-ups such as 25% at Expoagro.
  • Cuenta DNI benefits require paying by QR, Clave DNI or account balance in the app, combine with some merchant offers and credit automatically to the linked account in the days after purchase, subject to weekly topes.
  • Meat and market promos run in parallel: Banco Ciudad’s Buepp offers 30% in Comercios Vecinos (to $15,000 monthly) and at Ferias de la Ciudad on select days (to $20,000 monthly), while Banco Columbia grants 15% on Wednesdays at any butcher via MODO with an $8,000 monthly cap.
