Overview
- The Secretaría de Agricultura published Resolution 105/2026 on Monday assigning 29,333.175 tonnes of the EU Hilton quota and 111 tonnes for the UK for the July 1, 2026–June 30, 2027 cycle.
- The quota was split between Industria (26,450.101 tonnes) and Proyectos Conjuntos (2,938.899 tonnes) with Swift Argentina the single largest Industry recipient at 3,509.844 tonnes.
- Eighty‑eight firms applied and 81 were awarded volumes, including 15 new participants; several applicants were rejected for lacking required export history, operator registration or producer commitments, and Proyectos Conjuntos have 60 days to confirm producer lists.
- The resolution establishes an initial Fondo de Libre Disponibilidad of 55,825 tonnes that may grow with penalties and unexecuted volumes from earlier non‑compliance; the prior 2025/26 cycle was fully executed and brought roughly US$406 million in FOB revenue.
- Adjudication does not guarantee shipment because Certificates of Authenticity will be issued only after exporters meet customs, commercial and sanitary rules and complete registry steps in SI.A.C.E., SIOCAL and VUCE, a condition that will shape who actually reaches European and UK buyers.
