Arc Raiders' Riven Tides Update Goes Live With New Coastal Map and Flying Arc Turbine

The patch shifts progression to damage goals with a longer Expedition window to draw lapsed players back.

Overview

  • Riven Tides, which launched Tuesday, April 28, rolls out the roadmap finale with the game’s largest content drop since release.
  • The new Riven Tides map moves play to Azzurro beach with resort and dockyard points of interest, plus Beachcombing that uses the Dockmaster’s Detector to dig up buried loot at the cost of a weapon slot.
  • The ARC Turbine, a large flying foe, now roams the skies and requires players to track it and brave its defenses to secure drops.
  • The Expedition window is open for 13 days through May 11 and now grants bonus skill points based on damage dealt rather than stash value, while the Last Resort event converts match XP into Merits through May 25 for cosmetic rewards.
  • PS5 Pro adds PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution for sharper visuals, and new Crash Mat and Powered Descender items cut fall damage to make vertical traversal safer.
