Arc Raiders Begins Limited Rollout of Denuvo Anti-Cheat With Patch 1.29.0

Embark pledges no Denuvo DRM to protect performance during the anti-cheat push.

Overview

  • Patch 1.29.0, which launched Tuesday, began a wave-based rollout of Denuvo Anti-Cheat to a limited group with plans to widen after monitoring.
  • Embark says it is not enabling Denuvo’s DRM and is working to keep performance hits low, pairing the tool with Anybrain’s detection.
  • A new vendor, Nomadic Envoy Ermal, lets level-25 players trade rare ARC parts for stash upgrades, access to an Expedition Vault for up to five items, and weekly rotating gear.
  • Following player backlash to earlier changes, several weapons now last longer, with durability boosts ranging from 18% to 54% and the Renegade rising from 175 to 269 shots.
  • The update also adds The Rascal, a compact grenade launcher designed as a lighter anti-ARC sidearm with slower reloads and less predictable aim.
