Overview
- Patch 1.36.0 went live Tuesday and now tracks playstyle independently for Solo, Duo and Trio rounds so players are matched by squad-size-specific behaviour.
- The change addresses a flaw in Arc Raiders’ aggression-based system where a single hidden aggression rating could push friendly solo players into PvP-heavy lobbies after they played aggressively in groups.
- Patch 1.36.0 also raises the value of loot from ARC Turbines and fixes a bug that caused turbines to disappear shortly after spawning.
- Embark confirmed the Denuvo anti-cheat rollout is complete, said it is still fixing duplication exploits, and plans to expand 'No Free Loadout' restrictions to more map conditions.
- The studio has used heavy telemetry to tune matchmaking and the game still draws sizable PC crowds, but outlets note long-term retention will likely hinge on larger content drops while a limited-time cosmetics Contracts event runs July 9–30.
