Overview
- APSET-2025 will be held online over two papers covering 30 subjects, with Paper 1 on teaching and research aptitude and Paper 2 in the candidate’s chosen discipline, aligned to the UGC-NET framework.
- Eligibility requires a master’s degree from a UGC-recognised university with at least 55% marks for the general category and 50% for reserved categories, with no upper age limit and relaxation for PhD holders.
- Registration fees are set at Rs 1,600 for General, Rs 1,300 for BC/EWS, and Rs 900 for SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender, payable via online gateways.
- Applications are to be submitted through apset.net.in and andhrauniversity.edu.in, with updates on test centres, hall tickets, and any late-fee procedures to be posted on the official sites.
- Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, will administer the exam on behalf of the state in accordance with G.O.Ms. No.47 and UGC’s updated 2023 guidelines.
