Overview
- The Apple Music feature generates playlists from freeform prompts or preset ideas such as “morning coffee music” and “hip-hop party songs.”
- An initial set of 25 tracks is created with an auto‑generated title, and users can choose a cover image and write a description.
- Playlists can be edited like any other, with options to add or remove songs, reorder tracks, iterate using new prompts, save to Library, and share or display on a profile.
- Access it in Apple Music by opening Library and tapping the + new playlist button; if it doesn’t appear, restart the app or device.
- The tool is labeled beta and may not show until Apple Intelligence models finish downloading in Settings > Apple Intelligence & Siri; iOS 26.4 is in developer beta now, with a public beta expected in the coming weeks and a spring release planned.
