- Apple released version 3.10 of the Apple Sports app on Monday, adding CarPlay widgets along with F1 weather details and World Cup 2026 team and group tracking.
- CarPlay support now works through persistent widgets on the Dashboard, which moves the app beyond showing up only as Live Activities during games.
- Two small widgets are available in the car, with My Teams pulling from your favorited teams and a Leagues widget you can set to the competitions you follow.
- You can add Sports widgets to a CarPlay widget stack in iPhone Settings under General, CarPlay, My Car, Widgets, and some cars show more stacks if Smart Display Zoom is enabled.
- The Apple Sports app is free on iPhone in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and many countries across Europe, the Caribbean, and Latin America, giving drivers quick score checks without opening an app.
