Overview
- Apple released Sports version 3.10 on Monday, bringing persistent CarPlay widgets that show live scores for favorited teams or selected leagues.
- Drivers add the My Teams or Leagues widgets in iPhone Settings > General > CarPlay > My Car > Widgets, and most cars display one to three widget stacks based on screen size.
- Hands-on testing finds the widgets show live scores but do not update instantaneously during games, and there is still no full in-car app interface.
- The update adds Formula 1 race weather, including track temperature and wind speed for each Grand Prix.
- Apple also readied World Cup 2026 tracking so fans can follow teams and view group standings before the June 11 kickoff.
