Apple Preparing Car Key Support for Tata EVs in India

MacRumors reports Apple’s backend now lists Tata electric vehicles for Car Key, with no official timeline or model list yet.
Car Key stores a digital key in the Wallet app so an iPhone or Apple Watch can unlock a car via the vehicle’s NFC reader, with an optional Express Mode for quick access.
Apple named Tata at WWDC 2025 as one of 13 brands set to add Car Key, and similar code hints previously preceded Toyota’s 2026 RAV4 rollout.
