Apple Opens 2026 Swift Student Challenge Submissions Through Feb. 28

Apple plans to select about 350 winners, including 50 Distinguished.

Overview

  • Eligible students worldwide can submit interactive app playgrounds built with Swift Playgrounds 4.6 or Xcode 26 or later.
  • Entries will be judged for excellence in innovation, creativity, social impact, or inclusivity.
  • All winners receive a special Apple gift plus a free year of Apple Developer Program membership.
  • Distinguished Winners with truly exceptional submissions will be invited to Apple Park for a three‑day, expenses‑paid visit in summer 2026, with dates still to be announced.
  • Apple has published application resources and eligibility guidance, and results are typically revealed in late March though 2026 timing has not been confirmed.
