- Apple announced Monday that it will not move iCloud+ Hide My Email aliases to private.icloud.com and those addresses will remain on icloud.com.
- Moving Hide My Email to a separate domain would have let websites and email operators block all aliases by blocking one domain because aliases would no longer share the same icloud.com address pattern as regular Apple mail.
- Apple still plans to issue new Sign in with Apple addresses on private.icloud.com later this year while existing privaterelay.appleid.com addresses will continue to forward mail without interruption.
