Overview
- Oh Flip Shorts will launch on Wednesday, July 15, with Ravi Muppa’s Incognito as its inaugural premiere on YouTube.
- Incognito is a psychological-thriller short about a motel receptionist who sells hidden-camera footage and then faces a moral choice after filming a woman in danger.
- The short has screened at more than 20 international festivals, including the Oscar-qualifying Palm Springs International ShortFest, which boosted its visibility to producers.
- A feature-length adaptation of Incognito is now in active development with Invention Studios joining Flip Films and Campfire Studios and producers Anurag Kashyap, Nicholas Weinstock, Divya Souza and Ranjan Singh attached.
- The channel, backed by producer Ranjan Singh and curated by Kashyap, plans one curated short per month to build a community and create a festival-to-digital pipeline that helps short filmmakers scale to features.
